A big focus of OKC is giving back to the community through our participation as volunteers at events. For many of these events, the league receives funds back from the event organization as a result of our participation. Each OKC team is required to complete 6 credits of volunteer work by the end of the season. Each event volunteer shift is typically one credit. There will be prizes for the team and individual with the most credits at the end of the season.
Please also notify the OKC Volunteer Coordinator Michelle Breen once you have signed up, so we can track you and your team's OKC volunteer credits for the year. Please make sure that you attend any shift that you sign up for, as you are representing OKC. If you should need to cancel any shift that you have signed up for, please notify us as far in advance as possible.

BBQ Shifts
We need 2 teams on each doubleheader day to work the 12:00 & 1:00 BBQ shifts helping with setup & cleanup. Teams will get one credit for each 4 person shift. Only teams with 11:00 games will be able to work the 12:00 shifts. Sign up to help KClo, Dontae, & John serve up some grub!
Doubleheader dates this year are May 4, June 1, & July 20.

Can & Bottle Returns
We are offering credits this year for collecting the can & bottle return bags after games each week. Each shift is worth 1/4 credit, so we are asking people to sign up for 2 days at a time for 1/2 credit. Michelle will coordinate with you to hand off the bags, or they can be returned to the field the following week. Help us recycle & bring in some additional funds for the league!

They are looking for teams and refs for the tournament. Volunteer credits will be given for reffing games. You can ref even if you are playing on a team, you will just need to sign up to ref when you register. If you just want to ref but will not be playing, you can sign up by notifying Dontae Harden or David Riley on Faces Loaded.
